This silver box has been hand forged using synclastic forming giving the container a very delicate pleasing shape. The top of the box was formed into a hemispherical shape and topped off with a very nice Chrysoprase gemstone. The Chrysoprase is a sphere that is 9mm in diameter.

The container is 1 and 1/4 inches wide (34mm) and 1 and 1/4 inches tall (34mm).

A great box for display, storage of small treasures or for presentation of highly prized small gifts.  Also functions as a pill box or could be a desk accessory for mints for small candies.

The lid is pressure fit keeping contents inside secure.

This whimsical little box has eyes, a smiley mouth and a tongue. I call him Fred but I am sure he would be happy to adopt another name.

I played with the angles of the front, back and top of the box to give it a very unique look. The surface is a matte finish.

The tongue acts as a clasp to keep the box securely closed.

This fun little box is always smiling back at you. A great little pill, presentation or treasure box.

The Mushroom Box contains a hollow stem for storing items. It is made with reticulated silver on the top of the mushroom and sterling silver on the base that has been oxidized to give it a dark yet shiny finish. The under side of the top of the mushroom is composed of copper that has also been oxidized.

I tried to make this item look as organic as possible.

The cap has a beautiful reticulated surface. The copper underside has has been scribed to give the appearance of gills. The stem has been hammered to add texture to the base and it is tapered to give even more detail to the wonderful mushroom.

There is so much detail in this piece you will be noticing something new each time to pick it up.

The approximate measurement of the mushroom box are:

41mm height (1.6 inch)
51.5 mm width (2 inch) cap
25 mm width (1 inch) stem

This sterling silver box has been hand scribed by me with butterfly motifs on four of the six sides.

The top is a pressure fit closure.

The box measures:

1.5 by 1.125 inches (38 by 28.6 mm)
with a height of 0.75 inch (19 mm)

I love butterflies! Recently there was a moth that I saw in our urban neighborhood that was so unbelievably beautiful that I’ve gotten a bit obsessed with moths and butterflies!

I made this box from heavy gauge metal. It has a shiny finish that makes the butterfly motif stand out really well.

I have all kinds of ideas of how people might use the boxes that I make. I so love to make them and hope they find the right person in the world.

The box has a sandpaper and diamond burl finish that has been oxidized to bring out the texture of the surface. The lid of the box is pressure fit to the bottom.

The box measures:
42 mm width
32 mm inches depth
34 mm height including the legs the box part is 21 mm

The top of the box has rounded edges to give this box a trunk like appearance.

The surface of the box has been scratched and oxidized adding texture and depth.

The hinge is three part. The box has a nice closure clasp that represents the sun made from 18K gold and the moon pierced out of sterling silver sheet.

I burnished the whole box except for the bottom with a scribe to give it some texture and still retain a nice smooth surface, a truly unique finish.

The rock crystal quartz is an oval cabochon with a reversed carved sea shell, it measures 28 mm by 17 mm and is 22.4 carets.

The top of the box is made of fine silver that has been woven to give it a basket like appearance.

The surface of the box has been scratched and oxidized adding texture and depth.

The hinge is three part. The box has a nice deep blue star sapphire set in 14K bezel that functions as a clasp to keep the box tightly closed.

I do not know the origin of the sapphire it could be created in a lab or natural I just found it in a box of loose gem stones and thought it looked nice.

The rock crystal quartz is an oval cabochon that is clear with a reversed carved sea urchin, it measures 0.7 inch, (15.24 mm) by 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) and weighs 10.3 carats.

This is a natural gemstone that has been hand carved by a master gem cutter. I would love to be able to find more of these gems!
