This box is reminiscent of an old style milk box for pick up and delivery of milk bottles.
It has a three knuckle hinge that has been counter-sunk into the back of the box. This allows the top to be swung up to just past vertical.
The box is a cube with a little lip on the top to allow for easy opening. It is made of sterling silver that has been oxidized.
This box does not have a “clasp mechanism” so it is best suited for having on display or keeping things on your desk or bedside table.
