I started playing around with metalsmithing in 2009, in 2011 after leaving a career of 25 years Molecular Biology research I devoted myself full time to metalsmithing.

I am largely self taught but I do get some help from my fiance´, she is a very accomplished Jeweler.

I was always intrigued by small boxes, pill boxes, presentation boxes. So I started making unique designs with hinges, hidden clasps, pressure fit lids and different surface finishes.

I love sleek lines and simple embellishments that complement the boxes.

I have now added a selection of fine jewelry.

I try to make each of my works different from the previous one.

It is great fun making boxes and jewelry, I get great satisfaction upon completion of each piece.
